Students at Chinn Elementary were awarded a Certificate of Valor for acting quickly, calmly and responsibly in order to get help for a fellow classmate.
During lunch last spring, a group of students noticed a fellow student was in need of help. One of the students immediately went to find the school protection specialist, another student found the cafeteria attendant, and another stayed by their classmate's side, reassuring them that they were going to be ok and that help was coming. Way to go, Panthers!
Student helpers include: Bella Renyer, Naomi Asmerom, Maddie Greenwood, Emerson OReilly, Anncia Alafanso, Ryker Strough, Adam Sauer.
