Enclosure 2025-2026 Enrollment Report
File Attachment:
Provide Background Details and Rationale: K-12 enrollment for the 2025–2026 school year is 11,470 students, reflecting a decrease of 133 students (-1.1%) compared to the prior school year. Overall enrollment remains relatively stable, though most grade levels came in slightly under budgeted values. The most significant variance was in Kindergarten (-23), which was below projections. Offsetting this, Grade 4 (+5), Grade 7 (+8), and Grade 11 (+10) exceeded budgeted expectations, reflecting the typical cohort fluctuations observed in Park Hill’s enrollment patterns. Tentative enrollment projections for 2026–2027 through 2035–2036 will be developed using five-year cohort growth averages, providing a consistent method to inform the district’s 2026–2027 Budget and track the enrollment-based Long-Range Facility Plan (Park Hill 2034). Updated official counts and long-range enrollment projections will be reported to the Board of Education in Spring 2026 as part of the budget process.
