As we work to improve our approach to safety and security, we are working to expand coverage at the elementary school level. In order to do so, we need to employ a company that specializes in school safety and security and understands the training required to respond to threats to school safety, and can provide highly trained, professional armed school protection specialists at the schools without an SRO. The district began a formal Request for Proposal (RFP) process on February 14, 2025. Three companies responded with a proposal for their services. These three proposals were evaluated based on the following criteria:
1. Alignments to PHSD Mission, Vision, and Values
2. Annual Cost to the District
3. Training
4. Reporting
5. Responsiveness to RFP Requirements
6. Implementation Plan
Based upon the criteria, Strategos International was selected by staff as the recommended company to provide (4) Armed School Protection Specialists at the elementary level.

Recommendation:

It will be recommended at the April 24, 2025 regular meeting that the Park Hill Board of Education approve the 2025-2026 Contract for Services between the Park Hill School District and Strategos International, as presented.
