Provide Background Details and Rationale: Park Hill School District evaluated document cameras needed to replace all classroom document cameras throughout the district. Most classroom document cameras are over 8 years old and have reached the end of their warranty and usable life. Document cameras from HoverCam, Aver, Elmo and Ipevo were considered and the HoverCam Solo 8Plus was chosen as the best fit for Park Hill. A few of the features of the HoverCam Solo 8Plus that were valued highly are the ease of use, image quality, software functionality and portability. The purchase of classroom document cameras has been planned and budgeted for from the Technology Operations Budget. Please see the attached quote from CDW-G who is providing competitive pricing through a cooperative purchasing program. The total cost for this purchase will be $251,200.00.
