Provide Background Details and Rationale:

This purchase, if approved, will provide materials for masonry restoration and coatings at Park Hill High School, Plaza Middle School, Prairie Point Elementary, Renner Elementary and Union Chapel Elementary. The labor for these projects will be presented in a separate item.
As a member of Consolidated School Districts (CSD), Park Hill School District is able to purchase masonry materials at a discounted rate rather than including the materials in the bid packages for the contractors. Including materials within labor bid packages would cost the district significantly more because contractors cannot purchase these materials at the CSD rate, and any materials included with the labor bid would include a markup on these items.

Provide Funding Source and Estimated Cost:

Funds will be provided from the proposed 2024-2025 Maintenance and Operations budget. The total cost of materials is $57,545.11. The total cost of the project including labor is $692,324.11.
