|
The climate objective of the 2023-2028 CSIP is to “create an environment where all students, staff, and members of the Park Hill Community feel a sense of belonging.” Strategy 2 states: Develop and implement a comprehensive approach to building relationships and community as well as repairing harm using a Restorative Practices model.
To deploy this strategy, the district has partnered with Collaborative School Culture (CSC). CSC has a wealth of experience using strategic programming to create equitable adult and student outcomes. They use collaborative assessment, goal-setting, and program design, followed by training and coaching to ensure full integration.
This is the Third year of a multi-year partnership. For the 2025-2026 school year, CSC will partner with PHSD to continue implementation of Restorative Practices with the 7 schools selected for cohort 1, and begin implementation for the 6 schools selected for cohort 2. This entails training of staff at all cohort 1 & 2 schools, coaching district and school-based leadership teams for Cohort 1 & 2 schools, monitoring implementation progress, and the creation and revision of implementation plans for current and subsequent implementation years and cohorts.
