Elementary ELA curriculum writers collected teacher feedback throughout the 2021-2022 school year. Using this feedback, they have revised units as part of our continuous improvement cycle. Curriculum writing teams collaborated together to create aligned units. In addition this process improvement includes components of the science of reading, focuses on the five components of reading (phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension), and aligns with the DESE priority standards.
