Park Hill School District solicited bids for computers needed to replace all staff laptops throughout the district. Existing staff laptops are four years old and have reached the end of their warranty and usable life. Laptops from Dell, HP and Lenovo were evaluated and the HP Elitebook x360 830 G11 was chosen as the best fit for Park Hill and was also the lowest price overall. A few of the features of the HP Elitebook x360 that were valued highly are the durable construction, long battery life, portability, fast operation and digital pen capability.
The purchase of staff laptops has been planned and budgeted for from the Technology Operations Budget. Competitive bids were received from Dell, HP, ConvergeOne (Lenovo) and Hypertec USA (Dell) when bidding closed on March 26, 2024. The total bid for the HP laptops in the quantity required came in at $1,769,690.00.
