Provide Background Details and Rationale: As a member of Consolidated School Districts (CSD), Park Hill School District is able to purchase roofing materials at a discounted rate rather than including the materials in the bid packages for the roofing contractors. Including materials within labor bid packages would cost the district significantly more because contractors cannot purchase these materials at the CSD rate, and any materials included with the labor bid would include a markup on these items. The materials are for Prairie Point Elementary and Plaza Middle School roofing projects.

A separate item for the labor will be brought to the board for approval.
Provide Funding Source and Estimated Cost: Funding will come from the proposed 2019-2020 Maintenance and Operations budget.

The cost for materials is $166,121.24.

The total cost for these projects including labor and materials is $614,621.
