Provide Background Details and Rationale: Park Hill High School's Nutrition Service Department provides a variety of fresh baked products that require an institutional mixer for preparation. The current mixer which was purchased more than forty years ago has developed mechanical issues that would be costly to fix, and does not provide modern safety features that minimize risk of injury.

An invitation for bid was therefore issued to procure a new 80 quart mixer to replace the current one.

Two bids for the 80 Quart Mixer were received and opened as outlined in the IFB document:

TriMark/Hockenbergs - $26,106
Feller's Food Service Equipment - $26,623

TriMark/Hockenbergs provided the most competitive bid.

Sunflower Equipment submitted a bid that was rejected because it arrived after the bid opening.

Recommendation: It is recommended that the Park Hill Board of Education approve the purchase of an 80 quart mixer for Park Hill High School to be provided by TriMark/Hockenbergs Foodservice Equipment.
