Provide Background Details and Rationale: This purchase will provide all furniture and equipment for both Hopewell and Walden. The package included both schools in an effort to secure volume pricing from the suppliers. We received bids from fifteen different suppliers on various items in the package.

In some cases the District is able to take advantage of purchasing cooperatives and/or rebates for volume. In all cases the cooperative pricing was compared to the actual bids to validate the savings.

Thirteen of the fifteen suppliers were awarded items.
Provide Funding Source and Estimated Cost: Source and Estimated Cost: Proceeds from April 2017 No-Tax-Increase Bond Issue. The estimates for FF&E for both schools totals $1,470,000.

The total for all items is $1,297,037.
