Provide Background Details and Rationale: Park Hill School District solicited bids for network switches, phones and wireless access points needed to operate Walden Middle School, Hopewell Elementary School and the new Support Services facility. This equipment will be utilized to connect critical district technology such as laptops, desktops, printers, servers, security cameras, door access controls, environmental controls, wireless access points, projectors and phones. Wireless access points and network switches are also being purchased to upgrade and replace equipment which has reached the end of its usable life at each of our other schools throughout the district. These upgrades will offer our students and staff improved reliability and performance when using district technology.

Request for Bid documents were released on January 4, 2019 and bid responses are due on February 13, 2019. Please see the attached Request for Bid document for full bid specifications, timeline and other details of the project. We have applied for Federal E-rate funding for much of this equipment and it is anticipated Park Hill will receive approximately 50% of all eligible expenses back as a reimbursement for this purchase.
