We are #ParkHill Proud of our print and broadcast journalism students who brought home top honors from the Missouri Interscholastic Journalism Association at Journalism Day in Columbia, Mo. Park Hill High School Broadcast All-Missouri – Human Interest Feature, O’Toole Feature – Alayna Grego Print Best of Show – Traditional Package – Club/Organizations, TARKUS – Gabi Steinke and Edie Fink All-Missouri – Portraits/People Package, Staff Portraits – Josie Mormino and Emily Jones Additionally, Alayna Grego and Ella Allegri attended the Journalism Education Association/National Scholastic Press Association’s Spring National Convention in Kansas City on April 5. Ella and Alayna competed in the Onsite Broadcast News Package Contest. They competed against 18 other teams from schools around the country, and they earned an Honorable Mention for their news package. Benjamin Merithew is the school’s broadcast instructor. Michael Sweney is the school’s publications advisor.
