Additionally, Alayna Grego and Ella Allegri attended the Journalism Education Association/National Scholastic Press Association’s Spring National Convention in Kansas City on April 5. Ella and Alayna competed in the Onsite Broadcast News Package Contest. They competed against 18 other teams from schools around the country, and they earned an Honorable Mention for their news package.
