Provide Background Details and Rationale:
Roofing projects are scheduled for Park Hill High School, Graden Elementary and Renner Elementary. Roofs are one of the most important components of the building envelope to protect the assets within the structure. A restoration can only be done on a roof if the materials in place meet certain criteria to be eligible for warranty. The minimum life expectancy of a restoration is 10 years and costs less than half of a full replacement. The life expectancy of a newly replaced roof is a minimum of 20 years. A mandatory pre-bid and walk-through was conducted on January 3, 2024 and bids were collected January 17, 2024. This item is only for the labor to replace or restore the roofs. The materials will be brought to the Board in a separate item.  
Provide Funding Source and Estimated Cost:
Funding will be provided from the proposed 2024-2025 Maintenance and Operations budget. The total cost of labor is $1,540,000. The total cost with materials included is $2,008,491.67
